Material Handling Design Engineer

This role involves designing and implementing material handling systems for various industrial projects. The Material Handling Design Engineer will be responsible for developing efficient and safe solutions to move materials within a facility, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs and specifications for material handling equipment and systems.
Perform calculations and analyses to ensure system performance and safety.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate material handling systems into overall project designs.
Review vendor drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in site visits and inspections.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in material handling system design and engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Strong understanding of material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors, cranes, forklifts).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
