General Manager - Supply Chain

This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution of goods and services. The General Manager will lead a team, develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain performance, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage and optimize procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Improve logistics and distribution processes.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in supply chain management.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of supply chain software and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management).
12-14 years of relevant experience.
