Application Security Lead

This role focuses on leading and implementing application security best practices across the software development lifecycle. The Application Security Lead will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks within applications, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the application security program, defining and implementing security standards and guidelines.
Perform security assessments, including code reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Provide security training and awareness programs for developers and other stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Respond to and investigate security incidents.
Develop and maintain security documentation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of experience in application security.
Strong understanding of application security principles and best practices.
Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud security.
Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
