Production Engineer - Pilger Mill Steel Tube

This role involves overseeing and optimizing the production processes within a steel tube manufacturing facility, specifically focusing on Pilger mill operations. The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and implementing improvements to enhance overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control Pilger mill operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns.
Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and implement changes as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related field).
Experience in production engineering, preferably within a steel tube or related manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Pilger mill operations and related processes.
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
