L3 Netbackup Administrator

This role involves providing advanced technical support and administration for Netbackup environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of backup and recovery systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Netbackup environments, including servers, clients, and storage devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve backup and recovery issues in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain backup policies and procedures.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching and upgrades.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Develop and maintain documentation for backup and recovery processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

7 to 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on Netbackup administration.
Strong understanding of Netbackup architecture and components.
Experience with various backup and recovery methodologies.
Proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
