GCP Data Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring data quality, availability, and performance to support data-driven decision-making and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
Design and implement data models and schemas optimized for performance and analytical workloads.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Implement data governance and security best practices.
Automate data processing tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on GCP.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., BigQuery).
Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architectures.
Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
