Linux Administrator

This role involves managing and maintaining Linux-based systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The Linux Administrator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with other IT professionals to support the organization's technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and related technologies.
Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues.
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems and data.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Automating tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Performing regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience (12-17 years) in Linux system administration.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
