GCP Data Engineer - Purview

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing Purview for data governance and cataloging. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering principles, cloud technologies, and experience with data governance tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using GCP services.
Implement and enforce data governance policies using Purview.
Design and build data models and schemas optimized for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
Ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering.
Strong proficiency in GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage).
Experience with data governance tools, specifically Purview.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
