Customer Service Executive - UCV Finance

Role Overview

Tata Capital Ltd is looking for a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Executive to join its UCV (Used Commercial Vehicle) Finance division in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth end-to-end processing of finance-related queries and requests. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in financial services customer support and a commitment to resolving customer concerns efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding UCV finance products, queries, and service requests
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via phone, email, and in-person channels
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints, escalations, and service issues within defined turnaround times
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and collections to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system
  • Assist customers with loan documentation, disbursement status, foreclosure requests, and NOC issuance
  • Monitor and follow up on pending cases to ensure timely resolution
  • Educate customers on product features, repayment schedules, and policy changes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies in all customer interactions

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Prior experience in customer service within banking, NBFC, or financial services is strongly preferred
  • Experience handling vehicle finance, commercial vehicle loans, or asset finance products is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications
  • Ability to manage high volumes of customer interactions with patience and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of RBI/NBFC compliance and regulatory frameworks is a plus
