Construction Safety Manager - Re Sustainability

This role focuses on ensuring a safe and compliant work environment within construction projects. The Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to construction teams to minimize accidents and promote a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures for construction sites.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.
Provide safety training and toolbox talks to construction workers.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project.
Stay up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements/Qualifications

Extensive experience in construction safety management.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop control measures.
Proven ability to train and motivate construction teams.
Experience in incident investigation and reporting.
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
