Functional Safety Architect

This role focuses on ensuring the safety and reliability of complex systems through the application of functional safety principles and standards. The Functional Safety Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing safety requirements, conducting hazard analysis, and verifying the safety integrity of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement functional safety concepts and architectures.
Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment.
Develop safety requirements and specifications.
Perform safety validation and verification activities.
Support safety lifecycle activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety compliance.
Maintain documentation related to functional safety.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in functional safety engineering.
Strong understanding of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
Proficiency in hazard analysis techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with safety lifecycle management.
