API Automation Tester

This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our application programming interfaces (APIs) through automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to identify and resolve defects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using appropriate testing frameworks.
Design and execute test plans and test cases to cover various API functionalities.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in API testing and automation.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).
Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
