Fitter

This role involves maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The Fitter will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and executing repairs efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose mechanical failures in machinery and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning.
Repair or replace damaged parts and components.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
