Medical Record Executive

This role involves overseeing and managing the medical records department, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of patient information. The Medical Record Executive will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Oversee the coding and billing processes related to medical records.
Implement and maintain policies and procedures for medical records management.
Train and supervise medical records staff.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient record keeping.
Manage the release of medical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in medical records management.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
