Quantity Surveyor

This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying for construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

Cost estimation and budgeting for construction projects.
Preparing and analyzing tender documents.
Contract administration and negotiation.
Monitoring project costs and identifying potential cost savings.
Value engineering and cost optimization.
Preparing and submitting payment certificates.
Managing subcontractor payments.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements/Qualifications

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency in cost estimation software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
