Assistant HSE Project Manager

This role supports the Project Manager in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance of projects. The Assistant HSE Project Manager will assist in implementing and maintaining HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of HSE plans and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Provide HSE training and awareness programs to project personnel.
Monitor and track HSE performance metrics.
Support the Project Manager in maintaining HSE documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning.

Requirements/Qualifications

Experience in HSE management within a project environment.
Strong knowledge of HSE principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification.
Experience with HSE auditing and inspection.
Relevant HSE certifications are a plus.
