VMware Administrator

This role involves managing and maintaining VMware environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The VMware Administrator will be responsible for implementing and supporting virtualization solutions, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the overall stability of the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
Configure and manage virtual machines, networks, and storage.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization.
Ensure security best practices are followed within the virtual environment.
Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a VMware Administrator.
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
Experience with virtualization technologies and concepts.
Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
