Senior Network Engineer

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network infrastructure to support critical business operations. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network stability, performance, and security, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network availability and reliability.
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other systems.
Participate in network capacity planning and upgrades.
Respond to and resolve network incidents and service requests in a timely manner.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with cloud networking technologies is a plus.
