Sr. Merchandiser

This role focuses on managing and optimizing the merchandising process within a garment export house. The Sr. Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the entire merchandising process from order placement to delivery.
Coordinating with production, quality control, and logistics teams.
Negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
Monitoring production progress and addressing any issues that arise.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing regular updates.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and ethical sourcing practices.
Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 10 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the garment export industry.
Strong understanding of the merchandising process and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Experience with production planning and quality control.
