Middleware Admin

This role involves the administration and support of critical middleware infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The Middleware Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining various middleware platforms, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to optimize system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain middleware platforms such as JBoss, WebSphere, and DataPower.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Implement and maintain security best practices for middleware environments.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching and upgrades.
Troubleshoot complex middleware-related problems.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware components.
Develop and maintain documentation for middleware systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5 to 10 years of experience in middleware administration.
Strong experience with JBoss, WebSphere, and DataPower.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with automation tools is a plus.
