Manager - Investment Banking

Role Overview

Infra Advisors is seeking an experienced and driven Manager – Investment Banking to join their growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure-focused financial advisory, deal structuring, and capital markets, and will play a pivotal role in leading client engagements, executing transactions, and contributing to business development efforts across infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end execution of investment banking transactions including M&A, project finance, debt advisory, and equity fundraising within the infrastructure domain
Develop and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda for client mandates
Coordinate with clients, legal teams, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies throughout the deal lifecycle
Prepare and present pitch books, information memoranda, and transaction documents to prospective clients and investors
Mentor and guide junior analysts and associates on the team
Identify and pursue new business development opportunities in infrastructure sectors
Monitor infrastructure sector trends, regulatory developments, and market activity to provide strategic insights to clients
Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for ongoing mandates

Requirements / Qualifications

MBA in Finance or a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, or equivalent professional degree
Relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or infrastructure finance
Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions), and deal structuring
Prior experience working on infrastructure sector transactions such as energy, transportation, utilities, or urban development is highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
Strong project management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
