Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver

This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials using heavy vehicles. The driver will be responsible for adhering to all traffic laws, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring timely deliveries while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks, to transport goods and materials.
Plan and follow assigned routes, considering traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Proven experience as a heavy vehicle truck driver.
Excellent driving record with no major violations.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
Ability to operate navigation systems and communicate effectively.
Physical stamina and ability to handle long hours of driving.
