Fitter

This role involves performing skilled mechanical work related to the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. The Fitter will be responsible for diagnosing issues, repairing or replacing components, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in equipment and machinery.
Repair or replace defective parts, using hand and power tools.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Commitment to safety and quality.
0 to 2 years of experience.
