Senior GL Accountant

This role is responsible for supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Senior GL Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the general ledger.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Analyze financial data and identify trends.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
4 to 9 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with accounting software.
