Application Specialist NGS

This role focuses on supporting and enhancing applications within a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) environment. The Application Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of these critical systems, contributing to the delivery of high-quality data and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NGS applications.
Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.
Develop and maintain documentation for applications and processes.
Participate in the testing and validation of application updates.
Assist in the training of end-users on application functionality.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biology).
1 to 3 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
Familiarity with NGS technologies and workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
