Sr. Merchandiser

This role involves overseeing and coordinating the merchandising activities for a garment export house. The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to production and delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating with various teams including sourcing, production, quality control, and logistics.
Developing and implementing merchandising strategies to meet sales targets and enhance brand visibility.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high quality standards.
Managing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
Resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the merchandising process.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in merchandising, preferably within the garment or textile industry.
Strong understanding of the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing to delivery.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
