Azure Data Engineer

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and solutions within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and cloud-based data services, contributing to the delivery of high-quality data insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other relevant Azure services.
Design and implement data warehousing solutions, including dimensional modeling and data storage strategies.
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes.
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and scalability.
Implement data security and governance policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

6 to 11 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Experience with ETL tools and techniques.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
