MEP BIM Engineer

This role involves utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and software to support the design, coordination, and construction of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within various projects. The MEP BIM Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and efficient model development, clash detection, and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain BIM models for MEP systems in accordance with project standards and best practices.
Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and address potential conflicts between MEP and other disciplines.
Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and civil models.
Generate shop drawings, fabrication details, and other construction documents from the BIM model.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
Ensure adherence to BIM execution plans and quality control procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software and technologies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as an MEP BIM Engineer.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit MEP.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Experience with clash detection software.
