Supervisor Hedge Fund Accounting

This role involves overseeing and supporting the accounting functions for hedge funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial reports. The Supervisor will manage a team, review work, and contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
Review and approve accounting records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for hedge funds.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with internal and external audits.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
3 to 4 years of experience in hedge fund accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with fund administration software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
