Transaction Monitoring Analyst

This role focuses on ensuring the integrity and security of financial transactions by proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks. The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will be responsible for analyzing transaction data, investigating suspicious activity, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of monitoring systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor transactions for suspicious patterns and anomalies.
Investigate alerts and potential fraudulent activities.
Conduct detailed analysis of transaction data to identify trends and risks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve monitoring effectiveness.
Document findings and escalate concerns as appropriate.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of monitoring rules and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in transaction monitoring or fraud prevention.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret data and identify patterns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with AML/KYC processes is a plus.
