Backend Lead

This role is for a Backend Lead to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring code quality, and contributing to the overall architecture of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement efficient and scalable backend solutions.
Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to define and implement new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Contribute to the improvement of our development processes.

Requirements/Qualifications

5 to 8 years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience leading and mentoring a team is a plus.
