HSE Officer

This role focuses on ensuring a safe and healthy working environment across operations. The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety awareness within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
Identifying and assessing potential hazards and risks.
Investigating accidents and incidents and recommending corrective actions.
Providing safety training and awareness programs to employees.
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incidents.
Collaborating with management and employees to promote a safety-conscious culture.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in health and safety management.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop control measures.
Proficiency in safety training and awareness programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
