Netbackup Administrator

This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and integrity of data backup and recovery systems. The Netbackup Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Netbackup environments to meet the organization's data protection needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining Netbackup infrastructure.
Monitoring backup and recovery jobs for successful completion.
Troubleshooting and resolving backup-related issues.
Implementing and maintaining backup policies and procedures.
Performing regular system maintenance and upgrades.
Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Optimizing backup performance and storage utilization.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Netbackup Administrator.
Strong understanding of backup and recovery principles.
Experience with Netbackup software and related technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and documentation skills.
