Consultant Medical Surgical Retina Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization as a Consultant specializing in medical and surgical retina care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical services, contributing to the advancement of patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing comprehensive ophthalmological examinations with a focus on retinal diseases.
Diagnosing and managing a wide range of retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vascular occlusions.
Performing medical and surgical interventions for retinal diseases, including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and retinal surgery.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
Fellowship training in Retina.
Board certification or eligibility.
Excellent clinical skills and judgment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
