Sr. Mainframe Developer

This role involves developing and maintaining mainframe applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and security. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, coding, testing, and implementation of solutions within a complex mainframe environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test mainframe applications.
Maintain and enhance existing mainframe systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Implement security best practices within mainframe applications.
Document technical specifications and processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in mainframe development.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operating systems.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., DB2).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with change management processes.
