Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Site Incharge to oversee and manage all electrical activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations, inspections, and maintenance are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site electrical works including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other site engineers to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve electrical issues or hazards promptly
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of site progress, material usage, and workforce attendance
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management
- Train and guide on-site electrical technicians and helpers to maintain work quality
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LV/HV panels, cabling, earthing, and lighting installations
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under site conditions
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools is preferred
- Valid electrical supervisor or site engineer certification is an added advantage
