Network Vulnerability Remediation Engineer L3

This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and remediating network vulnerabilities to ensure the security and integrity of critical systems and data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network security principles, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and remediation techniques, working to proactively mitigate risks and maintain a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure.
Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize remediation efforts.
Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Document security incidents and remediation activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

8 to 13 years of experience in network security.
Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies.
