System Administrator - LAN Wireless SME

This role involves managing and maintaining the organization's local area network (LAN) and wireless infrastructure. The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of these critical systems, supporting users, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain LAN and wireless network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.
Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide technical support to end-users.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Manage user accounts and access permissions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and security threats.

Requirements/Qualifications:

6 to 11 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on LAN and wireless networking.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
Experience with configuring and managing network security devices (firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
