Senior Executive - Inventory and Purchase

This role involves overseeing and managing the inventory and purchase functions within a diagnostic laboratory setting. The Senior Executive will be responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, maintaining optimal stock levels, and minimizing costs while adhering to quality standards. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and collaborating effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet operational needs.
Source and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors.
Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
Monitor inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with laboratory staff to understand their requirements and provide support.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management).
0-5 years of experience in inventory management and procurement.
Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
