Forward Deployment Engineer - SRE

This role focuses on ensuring the reliable and efficient deployment of applications and infrastructure within a dynamic environment. The Forward Deployment Engineer - SRE will be responsible for automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and proactively addressing potential issues to maintain high availability and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC).
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience with deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
