Manager - Cybersecurity SOC GRC Security Engineering

This role is responsible for leading and managing a team focused on cybersecurity operations, governance, risk, and compliance, as well as security engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices, and will be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
Oversee the operation of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.
Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure and tools.
Respond to and investigate security incidents.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.

Requirements/Qualifications:

6 to 12 years of experience in cybersecurity.
Proven experience in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of security operations, governance, risk, and compliance.
Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
