Server Maintenance Engineer

This role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical server infrastructure. The Server Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine server maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and configuration changes.
Monitor server performance and identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve server-related incidents in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain security best practices for server environments.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Document server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements/Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in server administration and maintenance.
Strong understanding of server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of server hardware and networking concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
