Network Security Engineer

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to protect organizational assets and data. The Network Security Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network resources, proactively identifying and mitigating potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential weaknesses.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in network security engineering, with a strong understanding of security principles and technologies.
Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Experience with security assessment tools and vulnerability scanning techniques.
Knowledge of network protocols and security standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
