Collection Officer

This role focuses on managing and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships. The Collection Officer will be responsible for contacting debtors, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Contacting debtors via phone, email, and other appropriate channels.
Negotiating payment arrangements and settlements.
Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies.
Escalating unresolved cases to senior management.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in collections or a related field.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
