US IT Recruitment Team Lead

Role Overview

Kaizen SRA Technologies is seeking an experienced and driven US IT Recruitment Team Lead to join their talent acquisition team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters focused on sourcing and placing IT professionals for clients in the United States staffing market. You will combine hands-on recruiting expertise with strong leadership capabilities to drive team performance, ensure quality delivery, and meet client hiring objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of US IT recruiters to achieve individual and team hiring targets
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for US-based IT positions, including sourcing, screening, submitting, and closing candidates
  • Partner with account managers and clients to understand job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies
  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular coaching and feedback to improve productivity
  • Utilize job boards, ATS platforms, LinkedIn, and other sourcing channels to identify top IT talent
  • Ensure compliance with US staffing regulations including work authorization (OPT, CPT, H1B, GC, USC)
  • Conduct training sessions for new recruiters on US IT staffing processes and best practices
  • Collaborate with senior management to refine recruitment workflows and improve placement ratios
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines across various IT skill sets including development, infrastructure, and data roles

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in US IT staffing and recruitment, with demonstrated team lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and work visa categories
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job portals such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, and CareerBuilder
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with candidates and clients effectively
  • Ability to work in US shift timings aligned with client time zones
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • Experience sourcing niche IT profiles across domains such as cloud, cybersecurity, data engineering, and software development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions and prioritize workload under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA or HR specialization is a plus
