Bakery Chef / Baker / Commis Baker

This role involves preparing and creating a wide range of baked goods and pastries to meet customer demand and maintain high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of baking techniques, a passion for creating delicious products, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Maintain a clean and organized work station.
Follow recipes and baking procedures accurately.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Baker, Bakery Chef, or Commis Baker.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to read and follow recipes.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
