Steel Detailer Draftsman

This role involves creating detailed drawings and models for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications. The Steel Detailer Draftsman will work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed drawings and models of steel structures based on engineering designs.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and codes.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues.
Prepare shop drawings and fabrication details.
Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Steel Detailer or Draftsman.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures).
Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
