VP SRE

This role is focused on ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems and infrastructure. The VP of Site Reliability Engineering will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining robust automation, monitoring, and incident response capabilities to support the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers.
Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to improve system reliability.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for system reliability.
Drive continuous improvement of SRE practices and processes.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
