Azure Network Architect

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable network solutions within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The Azure Network Architect will be responsible for ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of cloud-based network infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and drive cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Azure network architectures, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and routing configurations.
Configure and manage Azure network services such as Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure DNS.
Implement and maintain network security best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN gateways.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring optimal network availability and responsiveness.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate network solutions with applications and infrastructure.
Automate network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions in Azure.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security.
Experience with Azure network services and technologies.
Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
