Senior Associate Biobank Specialist

This role supports the biobanking operations, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of biological samples for research and development activities. The Senior Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to sample processing, storage, and retrieval, contributing to the advancement of scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, process, and store biological samples according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate records of sample inventory and location.
Perform quality control checks on samples and equipment.
Assist in the development and implementation of new biobanking procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology).
Experience in biobanking or a related laboratory setting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
